Different fashion

As it's raining about 320 days in a year in UK, people have made their own fashion for their best friends: Umbrellas.

What I've been noticing on the streets is that actually that you can compare umbrellas to cars. It's funny but let me explain:

Big umbrellas, they are like Hummers or other show of cars. Men walking with their big expencive umbrellas poking all people passing by, you must be careful to not get hit when you near them. U can see them from far and they never share their umbrella with anybody. Normally umbrella have expencive look with wooden handle and plain black (or other dark color) fabric.

Big umbrellas, which are like family cars. They're cheap ones, maybe even free as lots of them are for advertising (Have seen many from Lloyds?).They always walking they're whole family under it, wife and three kids. They are normally with really bright colors, as blue, green even yellow.

Fashion umbrellas like city cars (small cars, Smart). These you see only on ladies (Sometimes on their boyfriends), the most popular one right now is the see trough plastic umbrella. It's safe on the street as the edges bend down, this means you're not hitting people on the street and you can move really fast and easy.

Primark umbrellas, as old or cheap cars. These you see quite a lot, owners are people who don't care. They might be a little bit broken from the corner, but as long as it covers you from the rain they're happy. They're after easy umbrellas which you can put in the bag when its not raining. this kind of umbrella you're also buying if you need it just for couple days. These are normally black or with a simple print.

Desing umbrellas, as sport cars. They're not more or less handy than normal umbrellas but you can see that they're expencive. Some of them are better but some of them are costing just because of the name. You can see the owners from far cause of their clothing and the way they look at the cheaper umbrellas. Owners can be men or ladies, but more often men would go for the first option. (Big umbrella)

Makes sense? Well if not just keep using the umbrella you have, and forget what you just did read. (Hehe)

My umbrellas, from VeroModa and Marimekko.
